Pastor Temperance Tobe is committed to learning the word of God, and living the love of God. She has spent 20+ years educating God’s sheep either through the public school system, or as a catalyst via the various church ministries, she has served in over the years. She is an avid reader and spends her quiet quality time seeking the Lord through his word that she may possess the knowledge, wisdom and understanding necessary to…Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Her passion for learning is also evident in her pursue in academia. She has an B.S. degree in Human Science, an M.S. in Child Development and Family Studies, and an M.S.A. in School Administration. Among her other accomplishments are several awards and grants, designed especially to aid in empowering our youth. As founder and chair of New Beginnings, a teen pregnancy support group, which equips and empower teens to stay in school, Pastor Tobe is living the love of God. Her other accomplishments include the 2013 Ebonettes Award, 2011 Team First Award, the 2009-10 Bright Ideas Grant Award, Young Men of Progress Grant Award and NCCU Service Learning Award.
Although she is very proud of her academic accomplishments her greatest joy comes from her love and devotion to her family. She has been married to Edward Tobe for more than 20 years, and together they have two children: a daughter named Charity Tobe and son named Emmanuel Tobe.
Pastor Tobe has been a member of the Cup of Salvation Deliverance Church for 17 years. She has served as the Teen Director, Missionary Board member, dancer on the Liturgical Dance Ministry, Sunday School teacher, and Assistant Director of Prayer and Intercession. Pastor Tobe is an exuberant and forthright leader and now serves as the Pastor of Outreach Ministry, Evangelism Ministry and Prayer and Intercession. She is, and always has been, committed to God and will continue to CHOOSE LIFE, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days:
